The Effol SuperStar-Shine Lavender is a 750 ml coat shine spray for coat, mane and tail, with lavender oil in the formula. Effol releases it as a limited edition, with a name box on the bottle so you can pick yours out among the others on the yard. You use it after grooming, for shine and long hair that combs out more easily.
About this coat shine spray
What Effol says about this bottle: a radiant shine without an artificial feel, coat care that stays easier for several days, knots, shavings and straw that come away almost without pulling, more volume and bounce in mane and tail, and conditioning of brittle, dry hair.
The main difference from the regular SuperStar-Shine is not the scent but the formula. This version contains alcohol denat. and is therefore flammable: the label carries the signal word Achtung and the hazard statement H226. The regular SuperStar-Shine has no hazard classification at all. So keep the bottle away from heat, sparks and open flame, and do not spray near a heat source.
The scent comes from real lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia). Alongside the silicone emulsion that characterises the range, the INCI list names PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil and laureth-10, two emulsifiers that keep the oil dispersed in the water. According to the safety data sheet the pH sits between 7.5 and 9.5, clearly higher than the base version. No rinsing needed.
Within the range at Maddelin this is the only bottle with a name box, and the only one in a limited run. The permanent 750 ml versions are the Effol SuperStar-Shine, the Effol SuperStar-Shine Mint with mint oil and the Effol SuperStar-Shine Orange & Ginger. If you want exactly the same formula without alcohol, take the regular SuperStar-Shine.
