The locking mechanism for the seat post grip was not the best. A handle would tighten and loosen the grips around the seat post and it's range from open to close could be adjusted by screwing it tighter or looser, that requires two hands . Unfortunately, opening it far enough to take the seat post, would mean it wouldn't close far enough to lock on
