The HB Showtime Stockholm is an anatomic bridle in black leather with a distinctly competition-ready finish. The headpiece is cut back behind the ears and softly lined, and the noseband is anatomically shaped. The browband carries black decorative stones with a centre row of white Swarovski crystals. Soft leather reins are included. For riders who want to combine comfort with a polished look in the ring.
About this bridle
The Stockholm from the HB Showtime line sets out to do two things at once: fit well and look smart at a show. That works because the anatomic construction and the decorative finish have been developed separately, rather than letting the decoration get in the way of comfort.
The headpiece is anatomically shaped, softly lined and specially cut back behind the ears. Thanks to that cut-away shape no leather presses against the base of the ears, and the pressure from headpiece and throatlash is spread over a wider area. Horses that turn their head away or keep rubbing with a classic straight headpiece usually gain a lot from this shape.
The noseband has been redesigned along anatomic lines too. It spreads pressure evenly across the nasal bone, so it stays quietly in place without you having to tighten it to keep it there. Contact benefits from that: a horse that does not have to compensate for discomfort at the head stays more honest in the rein.
The finish is where the Stockholm earns its name. Noseband and browband have a glittering black decorative finish, and along the browband run black decorative stones with a centre row of white Swarovski crystals between them. Black on black with a single light line: it adds depth without becoming busy, and it still reads well in an indoor arena in winter.
Soft leather reins come with the bridle. They are comfortable in the hand from the start and match the rest in colour and finish, so you do not have to go looking for a matching set separately.
The bridle comes in Pony, Cob and Full, which also makes it a logical choice for young riders who want to present the same picture with their pony or horse as in the big ring.
